Boarding/Kenneling

Pet Boarding in Greenfield, WI

The team at Alta View Veterinary Clinic offers boarding options for dogs, and cats. Our facility was founded to provided pet owners with a safe, and welcoming place that suits all of their pet’s needs. We care for pets in every stage of their life.

Our boarding facility offer different areas for dogs and cats to ensure your pets feel comfortable and safe. Having our boarding facility in the same building as our clinic, allows your pet to have access to continuous supervision from the assistants and doctors. Our doctors are always near by to address any concerns that arise while your pet is staying with us. If your pet requires multiple medications, rest assured that our trained staff will continue their regimen as normal. You don't have to worry about bringing anything along, we provide food (Hill's Science Diet Adult Maintenance), we have bowls, beds, and toys. We do recommend bringing your pet's own food if your pet is on a strict diet, has GI issues, picky eater, or on a special diet. You are more than welcome to bring anything from home, like own blanket, toys, treats, and bowls to make it more like home for them. If you're pet is on medications, don't forget to bring their medications along so we can continue their regimen while they stay with us. We have a fenced in back yard area for your pet to wonder, stretch their legs, and go potty.

We has specific requirements for you to be able to board your pet. Please refer to the information below or talk with one of our staff members to see if your pet qualifies to stay with us.

For Dogs:

Vaccinations - Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, within 6 months Negative Fecal, and current on their flea/tick preventative.

For first time boarders, we do require to meet your pet before their boarding reservation. During this visit the doctor will do a full evaluation on your pet to assure your pet will do well while boarding with us. This helps us gage your pet's temperament.  This helps make sure all vaccinations required are current and we can recommend flea/tick control products if your pet is not current. We'll also take this opportunity to become familiar with your pet's medication, and/or special diet regimen.
